“Growing spiritually can be like a roller coaster ride. Take comfort in the knowledge that the way down is only preparation for the way up.” (Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, Likkutei Moharan 1:22 and in The Empty Chair p43)
“Spiritual awakening begins with inspiration coming from without. Then, once you are already on the road, the real work begins. Keep at it and inspiration will come from within.”
Rebbe Nachman of Breslov (LH 3:152c, in The Empty Chair p41)
Rabbi Eliezer, father of Rabbi Yisrael the Baal Shem Tov, said the following to his son on his deathbed, ”Fear nothing but G-d”.
Liberate your Blessings – How to unmask a blessing in disguise: Stare it in the face and say, “I know you are not just a lousy day or bad luck. I know you are a good friend – even if for the life of me, I cannot determine how. I know there is only one Source of All Things, and nothing can convince me that evil descends from Above. Evil descends from the constraints of my perception. You are no more than a blessing in disguise.”

(Based on letters and talks of The Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson)
